2021 Good Food 100 Restaurants™
For the fifth year, we're proud to offer chefs and restaurants a badge of honor for not just how good their food tastes, but how good it is for every link of the food chain. Now it is up to us as eaters to vote with our forks and our dollars to demand an open, transparent, and sustainable food system for all. Vote #GoodFoodForAll and support Good Food 100 Restaurants™.
How Did COVID-19 Pandemic Impact Independent Restaurants?
While measuring the impact of good food is at the heart of what we do, this year we felt it was also critical to look at the pandemic’s toll on restaurants, their workforce, and operations. Despite the setbacks of this distressing year, our NEW
Good Food Confidence Index, which benchmarks attitudes and outlooks for the restaurant industry, found that there is resounding optimism for the future.
Where Do Chefs Buy Good Food?
Featured in The New York Times (May 2020), our state and national online guide –curated by chefs featured on the Good Food 100 Restaurants™– is designed to help eaters buy from the farmers & purveyors who help bring good food to the table.
Plus, congratulations to the 2020 Good Food Farmer & Purveyor of the Year Winners: Weiser Family Farms (California); Ellis Family Farms (Illinois); Verrill Farm (Massachusetts); Cure Organic Farm and Ollin Farms (Colorado); West Georgia Farmer's Cooperative (Georgia); and McClendon's Select (Arizona).
